UPLOAD YOUR FILM & BACKUP OPTIONS
Thanks for filling out your film's information! Now it's time to upload your file. Once you click the 'Upload File' button below, the window will show the upload's progress. Do Not Close the Upload Progress Page! It should take approximately 15 minutes for a 250MB file to upload with a high speed connection. After a successful upload, you will see an "Upload Success - we have received your file" message confirming that you have successfully uploaded your file. As long as your upload begins before the deadline, your film will be considered on time. We also highly recommend sending us backups of your files once your upload begins below. For backup options and information on sending your releases, scroll down farther on this page.
CORRECTLY NAMING YOUR FILE
"YourTeamName_YourFilmTitle.mp4 (or .mov)". For example, if your Team Name is "Flapjacks" and your Film Title is "Hot Shots", than please name your file "Flapjacks_HotShots.mov".
YOU MAY NOT MAKE YOUR FILMS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL YOU ARE NOTIFIED BY FILM RACING THAT YOU MAY DO SO - THIS WILL NOT BE UNTIL AFTER JUDGING IS COMPLETE

BACKUP OPTIONS
Upload to YouTube or Vimeo
If you don't already have an account, it's free to register and only takes a few minutes. Upload your file and make sure that the privacy settings are set to UNLISTED (not Public or Private) - or if uploading to Vimeo, password protect the file. That way you can view it without anyone else seeing it. Once your file is uploaded, send us an e-mail at filmracing@gmail.com with "Film Race Backup File [Team Name]" in the Subject Line and include the private link to view your film, your team name, and your film title in the body of the e-mail. That way, if there is an issue with your upload, we can go to your backup on YouTube or Vimeo.
