how it works

The Film Racing Grand Prix challenges filmmakers to create short films in 100 hours.

On Thursday, November 19th at 8PM EST, teams will be e-mailed a theme and a surprise element for their film.  Past examples of themes include revenge, bad advice and spare change.  Surprise elements can range from an action, such as shaving or brushing teeth, to a prop, such as an egg or scissors.

The films must be no longer than 5 minutes and 30 seconds and must be postmarked no later than Monday, November 23rd at 11:59PM EST.  Filmmakers will also have the option of uploading their film directly to the website.

All of the films will be featured here on filmracing.com and will be competing for thousands in cash and prizes.
